Giving Gifts and Presents for Christmas is a very old Tradition, however, the Gifts and Presents consisted mostly of Baked Goods, such as Cookies and Cakes, Fruits and Nuts and handmade Items like Knit Sweaters, Socks and Scarfs. Nowadays we do not have the time to make many of those Items, so the Tradition has changed and as the Days get shorter and the Weather gets cooler, Stores are starting to bring out their new Creations for Christmas and the Storefronts are decorated with lights.
It used to mean it’s Time to go shopping and find all those wonderful things on the Wishlist in the local Mall! Today we can avoid all that traffic and standing in Line and sloshing through Snow and Rain and we can find all those wonderful things on the Net and have them delivered to our Front Door, even gift-wrapped, if we so desire.
